This is not self-storage

A self-serve unit means driving out there, loading it yourself, and then finding a carrier. That is the exact opposite of third-party logistics, where the provider handles all of it for you. Here the storage is half the service; the movement is the other half.

Receiving

Straight from your supplier

Often the most useful part: the goods arrive at our door instead of at a closed store, a delayed job site or a space that is not ready. Your supplier ships on their date, you receive on yours.

Pick and pack

Your orders picked, packed and shipped

We pick from your stock, pack it and ship it on your behalf — by the unit, by the batch or by the full pallet. Your goods leave at the pace of your orders rather than all at once, which keeps you from cluttering a space that is not ready to take everything.

Consolidation

One trip instead of three

For deliveries out in the regions, the warehouse is the gathering point: your orders accumulate and travel up to Abitibi, Saguenay or the North Shore together. That is what makes the distance affordable.

The cases we see most: a space under renovation, a delayed job site, a seasonal overflow, or an order that arrived too early. A few weeks to several months, depending. What we hold: palletized freight, store fixtures and commercial equipment, materials waiting on a job site, heavy equipment awaiting installation, and seasonal surplus.

Frequently asked questions

Can I access my goods myself?

This is not a self-serve unit. The model is different: you tell us what you need and when, and we deliver it. For most businesses it works out cheaper, because the real cost of a storage unit is the time spent driving to it.

Do you do order preparation?

Yes. We pick from your stock, pack it and ship it to your instructions, by the unit as readily as by the pallet. It is useful when goods arrive by container or by full truckload but leave in small quantities, to your customers or to your branches.

Will you receive directly from my suppliers?

Yes. Give our address as the delivery point and we take the shipment in on your behalf. Especially useful when a supplier dictates the ship date and your space is not ready yet. We also devan sea containers and palletize the contents as they come off.

Do you do cross-docking?

Yes. Freight comes in and goes back out the same day, transferred from one truck to another without ever going into storage — the cheapest option when the receiving date and the delivery date meet. We also hold heavy equipment awaiting installation, a common case on industrial projects: the piece arrives before the site is ready. Transport to the site afterwards runs through our specialized service.

How much does 3PL warehousing cost?

There is no single rate for 3PL. The price is built on the space actually taken up and the duration — a few weeks to several months — not off a standard grid. A six-week seasonal peak is not priced like permanent stock. Storage, preparation, handling and transport are quoted together, so you get one price rather than four invoices.
